The End.

The tour is officially over. For the time being, I have moved back home and have gone back to work at FrenchCreek Production in Franklin, PA as a Video Producer…and anything else they need. Today was my first day at work and it was a weird feeling. Even before I got to work I thought, “I can’t do this for the rest of my life.” I’m an entertainer by nature and I’m not sure an office job is the best setting for me. That being said, I am very thankful to have my old job back. I have several friends who just graduated a few weeks ago and have no jobs for the summer or anything lined up for the fall. I don’t think I’ll be in an office forever, but it sure helps make the ends meet right now.

The most exciting think that has happened since coming home is (drumroll) wireless! At last my home is free of wires allowing me to write this post in my room on my computer! Yahoo!!!!! In other exciting news…I gave my mom her mother’s day present: a hammock I bought in Mexico. It is a great addition beside our pond in our backyard oasis. I also bought my parents a seed for a Giant Redwood tree. The day after I bought it, one of our pines fell down. Now they have a replacement…in about 70 years.

It’s good to be back in PA. The weather has been great since I’ve been back and I don’t miss the Arizona heat or the Montana snow at all. It’s also nice to be around Sheetz again. My parent’s aren’t big Sheetz people so it wasn’t until I moved to Pittsburgh that I was really hooked- there’s just something about pumping gas, getting lunch, and drinking gourmet coffee all in the same place that is amazing. We didn’t get dinner after our show in Dubois last Wednesday, but Silver Ring Thing was generous enough to give me some money to get something on the way home. I pulled over at the first Sheetz I saw. I ordered my standard turkey pretzel melt and decided I wanted an apple too. I don’t know why I fall for this, but I always order the sliced apples that are on the menu now. I’m sure I could find an unsliced apple somewhere in the store for about 79 cents, but no, I insist on paying $1.39 to have it precut. Since I was driving, the slices were actually pretty nice. However, it was dark and I was looking at the road and not the apples…and I’m pretty sure I ate a sticker. That’s just mean to slice the apple but not desticker it.

I should be getting the totals from tour in the next few days. I’ll pass those along when I do.
